2022-23 COVID-19

2022-23 COVID-19 Update

Knowing the importance of in-person learning and positive social interactions for our students – our focus at Jeffco Public Schools is keeping students in-person, learning, and succeeding this school year. School-level COVID-19 case numbers will not be posted.

We encourage parents and staff to refer to the CDC's COVID-19 Community Level tool to help determine personal prevention measures for themselves and their family.

Should the CDC COVID-19 Community Level be raised to level red; Jeffco Public Schools will work with Jefferson County Public Health and CDPHE regarding any potential updates to our protocols and guidelines.

2. Symptoms are improving, AND

3.  It has been at least 5 days since symptoms began

a. If symptoms do not develop, count 5 days from when the test was administered.

4.  Individuals should then wear a well-fitted mask for the next 5 days when around others. If they are unable to effectively wear a mask for an additional 5 days, they should isolate for the full 10 days.

5. A negative COVID test is NOT required to return after testing positive
